The 2 Signal Training Centre (2 STC), Goa, witnessed a proud moment on Tuesday as 530 Agniveers successfully completed their military and technical training, marking the occasion with a majestic Passing Out Parade (POP).
Presided over by Brigadier Harsh Bhatia, Commandant of 2 STC, the event showcased the discipline, precision, and commitment that the Indian Army instills in its ranks. In his address, Brig Bhatia commended the Agniveers for their transformation from civilian youth to trained soldiers. He praised the training faculty and acknowledged the vital role of families in shaping and supporting these future warriors.
“The strength of these young soldiers is rooted in the resilience of their families. Today, we not only celebrate their achievement but also the sacrifice and pride of their loved ones,” Brig Bhatia said, while felicitating parents with the ‘Gaurav Padak’.
The 31-week course emphasized military values, adaptability, and technical competence. Notable performers included Agniveers Patil Piyush Ramesh, Rajat Indauliya, and Govind Kumar, each awarded the Overall 1st in Merit Medal for their respective streams. Agniveer Devara Siva received recognition for Best in Physical Training & Sports, while Agniveer Biaksh Gauda was named Best in Drill.
