Infant Jesus High School, Colva delivered a quietly stunning performance at the 5th All Goa Sir Jawaharlal Da Costa Interschool Football Tournament, sending favourites Perpetual Succour Convent H.S, Navelim crashing out with a 2-0 win in the under-12 boys’ category.
Goals from Sharuk Khan and Farhan Khan — one in each half — ensured Infant Jesus a deserved passage into the next round, despite little pre-match fanfare. The match was held at the Seraulim Panchayat Ground under the banner of United Sports Club of Seraulim.

- Girls under-12: Marina English High School, Verna blanked Regina Martyrum High School, Assolna 2-0, courtesy of strikes by Priyanshu and Joy Callodo.
- Girls under-14: Regina Martyrum H.S, Assolna took sweet revenge with a nervy 3-1 win on penalties against Marina English after a goalless draw in regulation time.
- Girls under-14: Fatima Convent H.S, Margao eased past Infant Jesus H.S, Colva 2-0, with Shenera Rodrigues netting a brace.
- Boys under-14: Perpetual Succour Convent, Navelim bounced back in their older boys’ category with a dominant 3-0 victory over Our Lady of Health H.S, Cuncolim. Aryan Nevagi scored twice, while Liroy Gomes added a third.
