Devotees of St. Francis Xavier have called for a peaceful protest in Vasco after police failed to arrest Gautam Khattar within the stipulated 48-hour time frame.
The protest has been announced with a single, unified demand: “ARREST GAUTAM KHATTAR.”
Organisers have urged citizens across Goa to gather in large numbers and stand in solidarity, emphasising the need for justice and accountability.
The demonstration is scheduled to take place on April 23, 2026, at Tilak Maidan in Vasco, with participants expected to assemble at 10:00 AM and then proceed to Vasco Police Station.
The protest will remain peaceful, with organisers appealing to the public to join in a collective show of support. The message underscores that public participation is crucial in amplifying the demand and ensuring that authorities take action.
“We urge all Goans to come together in large numbers and stand in solidarity for justice. Your presence matters. Let our voices be heard,”.
