Devotees of St. Francis Xavier have called for a peaceful protest in Vasco after police failed to arrest Gautam Khattar within the stipulated 48-hour time frame.

The protest has been announced with a single, unified demand: “ARREST GAUTAM KHATTAR.”

Organisers have urged citizens across Goa to gather in large numbers and stand in solidarity, emphasising the need for justice and accountability.

The demonstration is scheduled to take place on April 23, 2026, at Tilak Maidan in Vasco, with participants expected to assemble at 10:00 AM and then proceed to Vasco Police Station.
