Manchester United registered a dramatic 3–2 victory over Premier League leaders Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, with Matheus Cunha scoring a stunning late winner to seal the result.
The win lifts Manchester United to fourth place in the Premier League standings with 38 points. Arsenal remain top of the table but their lead has been reduced to four points. Manchester City and Aston Villa occupy second and third places respectively, both on 46 points.
Arsenal opened the scoring in the 29th minute when Lisandro Martinez inadvertently deflected Martin Odegaard’s shot into his own net. United responded strongly and drew level before the break after Bryan Mbeumo capitalised on a misplaced pass from Martin Zubimendi, rounded goalkeeper David Raya and finished calmly in the 37th minute.
