Apple on Thursday opened its second retail store in Mumbai and sixth in India, expanding its physical presence in one of the country’s fastest-growing consumer markets.

Located at Sky City Mall in Borivali, the new outlet brings the company’s full range of products and services to customers in Mumbai’s western suburbs, a key residential and commercial growth corridor.

The store offers Apple’s latest product lineup, including the iPhone 17 series, iPhone Air, Apple Watch Ultra 3, Apple Watch Series 11, and iPad and Mac models powered by the M5 chip. Dedicated sections showcase accessories such as headphones, mobile covers, Apple TV devices, and other electronic add-ons.

More than 70 team members have been deployed at the Borivali outlet to provide personalised support. Services include device setup, switching to iOS, product troubleshooting, and guidance for customers exploring Mac and iPad devices.

Retail offerings such as Apple Trade In, financing options, secure data transfer, and Personal Setup aim to simplify device upgrades. Customers who place orders online can also opt for in-store pickup at a scheduled time.

The outlet features a dedicated business support team to assist organisations with device management and enterprise tools. Apple’s digital services, including Apple Music and Apple TV, are also showcased across product tables within the store.

The company said the Borivali store operates on 100 per cent renewable energy and is carbon neutral.

Apple began its physical retail journey in India in 2023 with its first two stores in Mumbai and Delhi. It subsequently expanded to Bengaluru, Pune and Noida.

The expansion comes as Apple deepens its focus on India’s growing electronics market. The company has been manufacturing iPhones in India since 2017 through its global partners. Government-backed incentive schemes have also encouraged large-scale electronics manufacturing in the country.
