Fans of Arijit Singh have reason to celebrate as the singer unveiled his first independent track following his decision to step away from playback singing assignments.
Titled “Raina,” the romantic single marks a new chapter in Singh’s musical journey. The song is composed by Shekhar Ravjiani, with lyrics penned by Priya Saraiya. Singh lends his voice to the track, which explores themes of love and emotion.
The singer had earlier announced that he would not be taking up new playback singing projects, describing his innings in the film industry as “wonderful” and thanking listeners for their continued support over the years.
“Raina” has quickly drawn attention from fans, many of whom welcomed his return to music in a new format. Messages praising the singer’s voice and expressing excitement over his independent work followed soon after the release.
