FRRO Goa deported three foreign nationals for overstaying visas. Authorities also warned stakeholders to comply with C-Form reporting norms.

The Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) Goa has deported three foreign nationals in separate operations carried out earlier this month, officials said.

An Australian national, who had been overstaying in India since August 2020, was deported on April 10, 2026. Two Russian nationals, who had overstayed since January 2021 and July 2025 respectively, were deported on April 12 following due legal and administrative procedures.

Officials said the deportations were carried out after sustained field efforts and necessary documentation processes. The operation was led by PI FRRO Devendra, under the monitoring of SP/DySP FRRO Braz Menzes and overall supervision of SP FRRO Arshi Aadil, IPS.

Data shared by the FRRO indicates that from January 2026 till date, a total of 18 foreign nationals of various nationalities have been deported from Goa, including six Bangladeshi nationals. In 2025, the office deported or facilitated the exit of 120 overstaying foreign nationals, including 29 Bangladeshi nationals.

Authorities reiterated that action against overstaying foreign nationals will continue in accordance with the law, while ensuring that genuine visitors and residents are not affected.

The FRRO also issued an advisory to hotel owners, guest house operators, homestay providers, landlords and others accommodating foreign nationals. They have been asked to ensure timely and accurate submission of the C-Form, as mandated by law.

Officials warned that failure to report the stay of foreign nationals or delays in submission can attract legal consequences. Stakeholders have been urged to remain vigilant and comply strictly with reporting requirements to support monitoring and national security efforts.
