The Indian Homoeopathic Medical Association (IHMA) will hold its 12th national convention on March 29, 2026, at Kala Academy in Panaji, Goa, with a focus on the role of homoeopathy in cancer care.

Titled “Future of Cancer,” the convention will bring together homoeopathic practitioners, researchers, academicians, and students from across India to discuss recent developments in the management of cancer and other systemic diseases.
The event is being organised by the IHMA Goa State Chapter in collaboration with the Goa Homoeopathy Council and Shri Kamaxidevi Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital. The AYUSH Cell under the Directorate of Health Services, Goa, is the prime sponsor, while Kala Academy is the venue partner.
The inaugural session is expected to be attended by Goa Governor Pusapati Gajapathi Raju and Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, along with state minister Subhash Shirodkar and Kala Academy chairman Chandrakant Kavlekar. Representatives from the homoeopathy sector, including IHMA national president Dr. E.S.J. Prabhukiran and Goa chapter president Dr. Rajendra Kanekar, will also be present.
The convention will feature scientific sessions led by senior practitioners, focusing on homoeopathic approaches to oncology and cardiology. Sessions will include presentations on clinical practices and evidence-based approaches in treating cancer and heart-related conditions.
Dr. Farokh J. Master is scheduled to conduct a session on homoeopathy in oncology, while Dr. Navin Pawaskar will lead discussions on cardiology within the homoeopathic framework.
The programme will also include research paper presentations by practitioners and students, offering a platform to share clinical findings and experiences.
Organisers said the convention aims to promote knowledge exchange, encourage research, and strengthen professional collaboration within the homoeopathy community.
