Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal met state office bearers of AAP Goa and asked the party’s state leadership to strengthen its grassroots organisation and focus on addressing people’s issues.
Kejriwal held an interaction meeting followed by lunch with party leaders, during which state-level concerns were discussed. Leaders raised issues related to land conversions, damage to khazan lands, and the impact of development on rivers and lakes in Goa.
Addressing the meeting, Kejriwal said the party should prioritise direct engagement with citizens and assist them in resolving local problems.
“Our strength has always been our connection with people. Strengthen the organisation at the grassroots and become the voice of Goa. Listen to people’s problems, help them raise issues, and ensure those issues are taken to their logical conclusion,” Kejriwal said.
AAP Goa State President Valmiki Naik said the state was witnessing increasing pressure on land and natural resources. He said party workers should raise concerns related to land, rivers, lakes and khazan areas and support people affected by these issues.

Goa In-Charge Atishi said the party’s growth in the state would depend on sustained engagement with local communities and consistent follow-up on issues raised by residents.
She said an issue-based approach and regular outreach would help strengthen the party’s presence across Goa.
AAP leaders said the party would continue to focus on organisational strengthening and local issues, including environmental concerns, as part of its political strategy in the state.
