On the occasion of the 77th Republic Day celebrations in Goa, Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju, Governor of Goa, conferred Unit Appreciation on 3 Military Training Regiment (3 MTR), 2 Signal Training Centre (2 STC), Goa, in recognition of its exemplary performance, steadfast professionalism and selfless devotion to duty.
The Unit Appreciation award was received by Colonel Apurva Bhatnagar, VSM, Commanding Officer, on behalf of the regiment.
The Army Contingent of 2 Signal Training Centre, which participated in the Republic Day parade, was adjudged the Best Marching Contingent. The award recognised the contingent’s flawless drill, impeccable turnout, razor-sharp precision and outstanding marching standards.
The Best Marching Contingent award was received by Brigadier Harsh Bhatia, in recognition of the ceremonial excellence displayed by the marching contingent.
The two distinct honours highlight both the institutional excellence of 3 Military Training Regiment and the ceremonial proficiency of the 2 Signal Training Centre Army Contingent, reflecting the enduring ethos and discipline of the Corps of Signals and the Indian Army.
