The India U20 women’s national football team defeated Swedish club Älvsjö AIK 5–2 in a friendly match played at the Bosön National Sports Centre in Lidingö, Sweden, on Thursday.
Lhingdeikim starred for the Indian side with a hat-trick, scoring in the 1st minute, converting a penalty in the 20th minute, and completing her treble in the 59th minute.
Cindy Colney added India’s third goal in the 34th minute, while Sulanjana Raul sealed the result with a late strike in the 90th minute.
Head coach Joakim Alexandersson made two changes to the starting lineup, bringing in goalkeeper Monalisha Devi and winger Bhumika Devi.
