The Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium in Kochi, Kerala, will host the Indian senior men’s national team’s final match of the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 Qualifiers Final Round against Hong Kong, China, on March 31, 2026.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 7:00 pm IST.
The fixture will mark the return of the Indian men’s national team to Kochi after a gap of 10 years. The last time the Blue Tigers played at the venue was in March 2016, when India faced Turkmenistan in a FIFA World Cup qualifier.
India are already out of contention for a place in the AFC Asian Cup 2027. However, the team will look to conclude their qualifying campaign with a victory.
The match remains significant despite both teams being eliminated from qualification, as FIFA ranking points will be at stake.
Kochi will become the third home venue used by India during the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 Qualifiers Final Round. Shillong hosted the match against Bangladesh in March, while Margao staged the fixture against Singapore in October last year.
