Lewis Hamilton has revealed his dream of travelling across India and exploring the Himalayas, with the ambition of eventually climbing Mount Everest.
Speaking in a recent video interaction, Hamilton said, “Where I really want to go is… I wanna travel through India and then make my way up through the Himalayas. That’s like my future dream for me, and then I’m gonna climb Mount Everest.”
The seven-time Formula One world champion is preparing for the 2026 season with Scuderia Ferrari. The season is scheduled to begin with the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne on March 8, following pre-season testing in Bahrain from February 11 to 20.
Hamilton’s move to Ferrari in 2025 ended his 12-year stint with Mercedes and marked one of the most high-profile transfers in Formula 1 history. Teaming up with Charles Leclerc, his debut season with the Italian outfit proved challenging.

The British driver finished sixth in the championship standings, 86 points behind Leclerc, and did not secure a Grand Prix podium during the campaign. While he registered a victory in China, the season was marked by car performance issues and on-track incidents.
In 2025, McLaren’s Lando Norris claimed his maiden Formula 1 world title ahead of Red Bull’s Max Verstappen. Across 24 races, Norris, Verstappen and Oscar Piastri were closely matched throughout the season. Norris secured 18 podium finishes and consistently placed inside the top five to seal the championship.
McLaren also won the Constructors’ Championship, securing their 10th title and second in succession after winning six of the 24 Grands Prix, including a decisive result in Singapore.
With the 2026 season approaching, Hamilton remains focused on regaining his competitive edge while keeping his personal travel aspirations firmly in sight.
