The crisis follows a sharp escalation in West Asia after coordinated strikes targeted Iranian military and nuclear-linked sites, triggering retaliatory threats and widespread airspace closures in the region. Several countries, including Iran and Iraq, shut portions of their airspace, disrupting key international flight corridors.
Airlines have rerouted or cancelled multiple services, while airports have set up help desks to assist stranded passengers. Indian carriers said they are coordinating closely with aviation authorities and monitoring developments round the clock. Services are expected to resume once safe flight corridors are available.
