Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday strongly condemned the recent attacks on the United Arab Emirates that left three Indian nationals injured, calling the targeting of civilians and infrastructure “unacceptable.”

In a statement posted on X, Modi expressed India’s solidarity with the UAE and reiterated New Delhi’s position in favour of dialogue and diplomacy as the path forward.

“Strongly condemn the attacks on the UAE that resulted in injuries to three Indian nationals. Targeting civilians and infrastructure is unacceptable,” Modi said.

He added, “India stands in firm solidarity with the UAE and reiterates its support for the peaceful resolution of all issues through dialogue and diplomacy.”

The Prime Minister also highlighted the strategic importance of the Strait of Hormuz, underlining its role in global stability and energy security.

“Ensuring safe and unimpeded navigation through the Strait of Hormuz is vital for enduring regional peace, stability and global energy security,” he said.

India maintains close economic and strategic ties with the UAE, and developments in the region are closely monitored given their implications for energy supplies and the safety of Indian nationals working abroad.
