The Bandora Judo Championship 2026 was held at Nageshi, Bandora in Ponda on April 4, drawing participation from across Goa.
Organised by the Bandora Judo Club in association with the Madhavrao Dhavlikar Charitable Trust, the event featured competitions in multiple categories, including sub-junior, cadets (boys and girls), and senior divisions (men and women). More than 250 athletes took part in the championship.
The event was inaugurated by Mithil Dhavlikar, who encouraged participants and highlighted the importance of discipline and dedication in martial arts.
Following a series of bouts, Jaya Dojo Club secured the championship title. Warriors Training Center finished as runners-up, while hosts Bandora Judo Club placed third.

Best players of the tournament were announced as:
- Purti Lotlikar (U17 Girls)
- Arya Kadam (Senior Women)
- Devraj Lamani (Senior Men)
- Adhiraj Bandodkar (U17 Boys)
- Swasti Yadav (U15 Girls)
- Aryan Singh (U15 Boys)
Bandora Judo Club President Reshma Kankonkar and Secretary Allaudin Sandi said the initiative aims to promote judo in Goa and support athletes to compete at higher levels.
