BJP National President Nitin Nabin on Saturday called upon party workers in Goa to intensify organisational efforts across all sectors and regions in preparation for the 2027 Goa Assembly elections, stressing the importance of unity and sustained grassroots engagement.
Addressing party functionaries, Nabin said a strong organisational framework—from booth level to the state level—is essential to effectively take the party’s ideology and development agenda to every household. He underlined that a stable government is key to realising the vision of a developed Goa.
Highlighting the state’s development trajectory, Nabin referred to initiatives such as the Mhaji Ghar Yojana and ongoing infrastructure projects as indicators of progress. However, he stressed that continued and focused efforts are necessary to achieve the goal of a developed state by 2047.
Pointing to Goa’s economic growth, the BJP national president said the state’s per capita income has seen a sharp rise, increasing from ₹1.12 lakh in 2014 to nearly ₹3 lakh in 2023–24. He attributed this growth to focused governance and major infrastructure expansion, including two operational airports, the development of expressways and national highways, and the construction of new flyovers.
Nabin said this transformed image of Goa must be communicated effectively to the people, adding that sovereignty ultimately rests with citizens whose support strengthens the party. He reiterated that continuous organisational work expands the BJP’s reach and echoed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s view that when villages and the poor grow stronger, the party, the state and the nation also grow stronger.
Meanwhile, Goa BJP President Damu Naik said the BJP government in Goa stands for clean and transparent governance, asserting that no Cabinet Minister in the state faces allegations of corruption.
Addressing party workers, Naik said the BJP’s strength lies in its disciplined leadership and commitment to integrity, which has earned public trust. He added that the party’s focus extends beyond present governance to long-term nation building.
Referring to leadership at the national level, Naik said that with young leaders like Nitin Nabin at the helm, the BJP is planning both the party’s and the country’s future 25 years ahead. He said this long-term vision reflects the party’s resolve to ensure sustained development, stability and good governance.
Naik further said that the BJP’s organisational strength, combined with clean leadership and forward-looking policies, will continue to consolidate the party’s position in Goa and across the country.
