
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday greeted personnel of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on the occasion of its Raising Day, praising the force for its discipline and dedication in safeguarding critical infrastructure across the country.
In a message posted on social media, Modi said the CISF has played an important role in protecting vital installations and supporting the nation’s security.
“Warm greetings to all personnel of the Central Industrial Security Force on their Raising Day. Known for their determination, discipline and dedication, CISF plays a vital role in safeguarding critical infrastructure across the nation. Their unwavering commitment to duty contributes greatly to India’s security and progress,” the Prime Minister said.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also extended greetings to CISF personnel and paid tribute to those who lost their lives in the line of duty.
“Greetings to the CISF personnel on Raising Day. Whether safeguarding the nation’s vital installations or shielding nation during crises, their dedication reflects true spirit of patriotism and professionalism. Tributes to martyrs who made supreme sacrifice for the country,” Shah said.

The CISF is responsible for securing critical infrastructure, including airports, metro networks, government buildings and industrial facilities across India.
