SC Delhi and Inter Kashi played out a hard-fought 0-0 draw in their Indian Super League 2025-26 clash at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi on Sunday.

Despite Inter Kashi controlling large portions of the game and creating the better scoring opportunities, the visitors were unable to break through a disciplined SC Delhi defence led by goalkeeper Nora Fernandes, who finished with six saves and was named Player of the Match.

The result saw Inter Kashi move to ninth place on the table with 13 points from 12 matches, while SC Delhi climbed to 11th with 11 points from the same number of games.

Inter Kashi began the match with greater attacking intent and tested the SC Delhi backline early. Rohit Danu forced Fernandes into action with a long-range strike, while Mohammed Asif and Seiminlen Doungel both threatened during the opening exchanges.

SC Delhi remained compact defensively, with Clarence Fernandes and captain Ashutosh Mehta organising the backline effectively. Although the hosts enjoyed phases of possession, they struggled to create clear chances in the final third.

Inter Kashi continued to dominate possession through much of the first half, with Alfred Planas heavily involved in attack. The Spaniard saw multiple attempts blocked or saved and briefly thought he had opened the scoring in the 37th minute before the effort was ruled out for offside.

The visitors nearly found the breakthrough just before halftime when Narender Gahlot found space at the far post from a corner delivery, but the defender failed to make proper contact from close range. Moments later, Planas forced another sharp stop from Fernandes in stoppage time to ensure the teams went into the break level.

SC Delhi returned for the second half with greater urgency after making three substitutions at halftime. Augustine Lalrochana came close to scoring early in the half with a left-footed effort that drifted narrowly wide.

Inter Kashi gradually regained control in midfield and continued to threaten through set-pieces and shots from distance. Sergio Llamas dictated play from midfield and combined well with Planas, whose effort was once again denied by Fernandes.

As the match wore on, both teams exchanged attacking spells but lacked the finishing touch inside the box. Substitute Prasanth K delivered a dangerous ball into the area in the 79th minute, but Nauris Petkevičius could not guide his attempt on target.

At the other end, Abdul-Halik Hudu and Augustine linked up well for SC Delhi, though the hosts continued to struggle in front of goal.

Inter Kashi pushed strongly for a late winner during the closing stages. Fernandes was again called into action to punch away a header from Narender Gahlot before SC Delhi defenders blocked a series of efforts inside the penalty area.

Llamas had the final opportunity deep into stoppage time, but his shot sailed high and wide as both sides were forced to settle for a point in a contest where defensive discipline ultimately overshadowed attacking quality.
