
Jamie Maclaren produced a four-goal performance as Mohun Bagan Super Giant defeated Odisha FC 5-1 in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2025-26 at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata on Friday.
The victory marked Mohun Bagan’s fourth consecutive win of the season, keeping them at the top of the league standings with 12 points. Odisha FC remained ninth with two points.
Mohun Bagan took control of the match early and opened the scoring in the 14th minute. Dimitri Petratos combined with captain Subhasish Bose on the left flank, and Bose delivered a cross into the box where Maclaren headed the ball into the net.
Maclaren doubled the lead in the 24th minute. Liston Colaco delivered a pass into the centre of the box and the Australian striker finished calmly past goalkeeper Amrinder Singh.
The hosts continued to dominate possession and added a third goal in the 42nd minute when defender Alberto Rodríguez struck from distance, beating the goalkeeper with a low shot into the far corner.
Odisha FC responded a minute later when Rahim Ali controlled a long ball from Thoiba Singh inside the penalty area and scored to reduce the deficit to 3-1.

However, Mohun Bagan restored their three-goal advantage in first-half stoppage time. Colaco delivered a cross across the face of goal and Maclaren tapped in to complete his hat-trick and give the hosts a 4-1 lead at halftime.
Both teams created chances in the second half, but Mohun Bagan continued to threaten in attack while Odisha’s defence attempted to limit further damage.
Goalkeeper Vishal Kaith made several saves late in the match to prevent Odisha from scoring again.
Maclaren sealed the victory in the 88th minute. Substitute Manvir Singh launched a long ball from midfield, which Maclaren controlled before finishing past the goalkeeper to score his fourth goal of the match and make it 5-1.
Mohun Bagan maintained the scoreline until the final whistle to secure a comprehensive victory.
