Mumbai Indians have unveiled their new jersey for the IPL 2026 season, retaining the franchise’s signature blue and gold colours. The design draws inspiration from the letter “M”, symbolising the team’s mindset, momentum and unity.

The franchise revealed the kit on social media, presenting a design that retains the team’s traditional blue and gold colour scheme while introducing a new pattern inspired by the letter “M”.

According to the franchise, the jersey design incorporates a repeating “M” motif across the fabric, intended to symbolise the team’s mindset, mentality and momentum. The pattern is meant to reflect unity between the players and their supporters.

The jersey continues to feature the franchise’s signature colours. The deep blue is intended to represent the energy and spirit associated with Mumbai, while the gold accents highlight success and the team’s legacy in the league.

Mumbai Indians will enter IPL 2026 looking to end a title drought that stretches back to their last championship win in 2020. In the previous season, the team reached the playoffs but were eliminated after losing to Punjab Kings in Qualifier 2 in Ahmedabad.
