Goa returned with seven medals and a Junior team trophy from the ASMITA Pencak Silat League held in Daman on February 24 and 25, 2025.
The 27-member Goan contingent competed across 35 categories at the national-level meet, finishing with one silver and six bronze medals.
Falaknaaz Sayad secured the lone silver for the state in the Junior (-63 kg) division. Bronze medals were claimed by Sachi Joshi (Sub Junior -60 kg), Madhu Chauhan (Senior -50 kg and Senior Solo), Parmesh Chauhan (Senior -55 kg), and Chrissie Fernandes (Junior Solo and Junior Tunggal).
In the team standings, Goa finished third overall in the Junior category to lift the team trophy.
The squad was coached by Anthony Cedly Braganza, Head Coach and General Secretary, with Nilufer Khan serving as coach and Joaquim Antonio Da Silva as team manager.
