St Clara’s High School, Assonora, delivered a commendable performance at the 8th All Goa State Wushu Championship, securing a total of 10 medals, including two gold, two silver and six bronze medals.
The championship saw participation from multiple schools and clubs from across Goa, with young athletes competing in various weight and age categories. The students of St Clara’s High School stood out for their discipline, technical skill and competitive spirit.
Head Mistress Sunita Dalvi congratulated the medal winners and praised their dedication and perseverance. She also acknowledged the guidance provided by the school’s Physical Education Teacher Raj Gawas and the continued support extended to students pursuing sports.
Paulo Fernandes, Secretary of the Association of Goa Wushu, lauded the students for their impressive showing at the state-level event and encouraged them to continue training with focus and determination.
The school management highlighted that the achievement reflects its emphasis on holistic development, encouraging students to balance academics with sports and physical fitness.
