Oxford dominated the U-16 T20 final with a 168-run victory. Yug Yadav’s unbeaten century led the charge.

Oxford secured the championship title with a commanding 168-run victory over Future Star Cricket Academy in the ‘Platinum’ final of the 2nd All India T-20 Under-16 Cricket Championship, organised by the Telangana Schools Cricket Association.

After winning the toss, Oxford opted to bat and posted a formidable total of 214 for 3 in 20 overs. Rehan Hubli provided early momentum with 28 off 17 balls.

Yug Yadav anchored the innings with an unbeaten 102 off 58 deliveries, striking 10 fours. Barhaan Dash added 54 off 34 balls in the middle order, while Farhan Shaikh contributed 19 runs towards the end.

In response, Future Star Cricket Academy struggled from the outset. They lost their first wicket at one run and failed to recover, eventually being bowled out for 46 in 16.2 overs.

Captain Gowtham Reddy top-scored with 25 off 48 balls, but lacked support from the rest of the batting line-up.

Mohammad Ehtesham led Oxford’s bowling attack with figures of 4 for 8 in four overs. Tanishq Naik took two wickets, while Mrunal Naik, Yug Yadav, and Mohammad Abbas claimed one wicket each.
