Pop superstar Bruno Mars ended a nearly 10-year solo hiatus on February 27 with the release of his fourth studio album, The Romantic.
Released via Atlantic Records, the nine-track project blends retro soul, disco and Latin-infused ballads, highlighting Mars’ signature vocal range and polished production style.
The album’s lead single, “I Just Might,” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking a strong return for the singer-songwriter. The second single, “Risk It All,” was released alongside a mariachi-themed music video. Other tracks on the album include “Cha Cha Cha,” “God Was Showing Off,” “Why You Wanna Fight?” and “Dance With Me.”
Fans have described the collection as reminiscent of the mid-1970s, drawing inspiration from soft soul, Philly soul and quiet storm influences.

Mars produced the album in collaboration with longtime associate D’Mile, maintaining a cohesive sound across all nine tracks. Physical editions include a webstore-exclusive velvet sleeve vinyl and a numbered first pressing for collectors.
To support the release, Mars will launch The Romantic Tour on April 10, 2026, in Las Vegas. The global stadium tour is scheduled to include more than 70 shows across North America and Europe, with special guests including Anderson .Paak, Victoria Monét and RAYE.
