A woman has been arrested after allegedly firing multiple gunshots at singer Rihanna’s home in Beverly Hills while the pop star was inside, according to police.
The Los Angeles Police Department said officers responded to a report of shots fired at the residence at around 1.15 pm local time on Sunday. When officers arrived at the scene, they located a suspect and took her into custody without incident. A weapon was also recovered.
Authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported in the incident. However, one of the bullets reportedly went through a wall of the house.
Sources said Rihanna was inside the home when the shooting occurred. The singer lives at the Beverly Hills property with her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, and their three children.
Sources said the singer heard the gunshots and was initially confused about what had happened. The incident was described as frightening, though everyone in the home was reported safe.
Police have not yet disclosed a motive for the shooting, and the investigation is ongoing. Rihanna has not publicly commented on the incident.
