GCA to Hold U-15 Girls Cricket Talent Hunt on April 4

GCA announces U-15 girls’ cricket trials in Porvorim on April 4. Registrations open till April 2; eligibility and documents outlined.

The Goa Cricket Association (GCA) will conduct an open talent hunt for Under-15 girls on April 4, 2026, at its ground in Porvorim, as part of efforts to identify emerging cricket talent across the state.

Reporting time for participants has been set at 8:30 AM. Players born between September 1, 2011, and August 31, 2014, are eligible to take part in the trials.

Interested candidates must complete registration either through an online form available here or by submitting an offline form available at the GCA office. The last date for registration is April 2, 2026, by 5:00 PM.

Participants are required to report in proper cricket whites along with their cricket kit. They must also carry a digital birth certificate, Aadhaar card, and the latest bonafide certificate for verification.

The initiative is aimed at providing young girls in Goa with an opportunity to showcase their abilities and progress to higher levels of competitive cricket.
