A complete shutdown of the 160 MLD Salauli Water Treatment Plant has been scheduled to facilitate urgent repairs to the 1200mm Salauli PSC pipeline.

As a result, there will be no water supply to several areas across South Goa on May 5 and May 6, 2026. The affected regions include Quepem, Cuncolim, Curtorim, Margao, the South Goa coastal belt, Fatorda, Nuvem, Cortalim, Dabolim, Vasco, and Mormugao constituencies.

Authorities have also indicated that water supply will remain restricted on May 7, 2026, as the system stabilises following the repair work.

Officials have expressed regret over the inconvenience caused to the public due to the disruption. They have however, confirmed that the 100 MLD Salauli Water Treatment Plant will continue to function as usual during this period.
