The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has announced a revision in the fee for the FASTag Annual Pass, increasing it from Rs 3,000 to Rs 3,075 for the financial year 2026–27. The revised fee will come into effect from April 1, 2026.
According to the authority, the revision has been made in line with the provisions of the National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules, 2008.
The FASTag Annual Pass is available to eligible non-commercial vehicles with a valid FASTag and can be used at around 1,150 fee plazas across national highways and national expressways.
The pass allows users to avoid frequent FASTag recharges by making a one-time payment that provides validity for either one year or up to 200 toll plaza crossings, whichever comes first.
Once the one-time fee is paid through the Rajmarg Yatra mobile application or the NHAI website, the annual pass is activated on the existing FASTag linked to the vehicle within two hours.
NHAI said more than 56 lakh users have adopted the FASTag Annual Pass since its launch on August 15, 2025, reflecting growing uptake among private vehicle owners. The authority stated that the facility is intended to provide a more convenient and cost-effective travel option for users of the national highway network.
