DKA holds Konkani writing, anchoring workshop in Rachol

DKA organised a workshop on Konkani writing and anchoring at Rachol Seminary. Seminarians received training in language, communication, and stage skills.

The Dalgado Konknni Akademi (DKA) organised a workshop on Konkani writing and anchoring for seminarians of the Patriarchal Seminary of Rachol, with sessions focusing on language skills and public communication.

The session on Romi Konkani writing was conducted by noted writer and editor of Gulab magazine, Fausto V. Da Costa. He guided participants on effective writing techniques and stressed the importance of preserving and promoting the Konkani language.

An anchoring workshop was led by speaker, anchor and writer Agnelo Borim, who trained the seminarians in compering, communication skills, and developing stage confidence.

The programme began with a welcome address by Rector Dr. Fr. Donato Rodrigues, who appreciated the initiative taken by DKA to nurture language and communication skills among seminarians.

Fr. Myron Jeson Barreto, President of the Dalgado Konknni Akademi, outlined the purpose of the workshop. He emphasised the need to equip young seminarians with writing and public speaking skills so they can effectively communicate and contribute to society.
