
The Goa Cricket Association (GCA) has congratulated Goa cricketer Snehal Kauthankar for being honoured with the Madhavrao Scindia Award at the BCCI Annual Awards – Naman 2024–25.
Kauthankar received the award for emerging as the highest run-getter in the Ranji Trophy 2024–25 Plate Group, a performance that has brought recognition to Goa’s domestic cricket.
Congratulating the batter, GCA President Mahesh Dessai said the achievement reflected Kauthankar’s dedication and consistent performances in domestic cricket.

“Snehal’s achievement is a matter of immense pride for Goa cricket. His consistent performances in the Ranji Trophy reflect his hard work, discipline and commitment to the game. On behalf of the Goa Cricket Association, I congratulate him on this well-deserved recognition and wish him many more milestones in the years ahead,” said Dessai.
GCA Secretary Tulsidas Shetye and members of the Managing Committee of the Goa Cricket Association also congratulated Kauthankar and wished him continued success in his cricketing career.
