
The Goa Cricket Association (GCA) conducted the auction for the Goa Premier Division League 2025–26 at the GCA Hall in Porvorim on Tuesday.
Six teams will compete in the league: Panjim Gymkhana, Geno Sports Club, Salgaocar Cricket Club, Margao Cricket Club, Chowgule Sports Club and Dempo Cricket Club.
Among the players in the auction pool, Darshan Mishal of Chowgule Sports Club recorded the highest points tally of 32,500 points. Vikas Singh of Geno Sports Club followed with 32,000 points, while Suyash Prabhudessai of Panjim Gymkhana secured 28,500 points.
Other players in the auction included Abhinav Tejrana of Dempo Cricket Club with 22,500 points and Deepraj Gaonkar of Margao Cricket Club with 19,500 points.

The Goa Premier Division League 2025–26 will be held from March 21 to April 17, 2026. Matches will take place at the GCA Ground in Porvorim, GCA Ground in Sanguem, Gymkhana Ground in Panaji, Napex Ground in Sanquelim and the SAG Ground in Chicalim.
The event was attended by Goa Cricket Association President Mahesh Dessai and Secretary Tulshidas Shetye.
“The Goa Premier Division League is an important platform for our talented cricketers to compete at a high level. Through this league, we aim to strengthen the cricketing structure in Goa and provide opportunities for players to showcase their abilities and progress to higher levels of the game,” Dessai said.
