Vidya Vikas Academy clinched the top honours at the Salcete Taluka Level Under-14 Boys Chess Tournament for the 2025-26 season, organised by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs. The event was held at the P.J.N. Stadium in Fatorda, drawing participation from 40 teams across the taluka.
With this victory, Vidya Vikas Academy has secured its place in the upcoming South District Level Tournament.
The winning team comprised Parsh Pai Khot, Taapasya Bhat, Aryavrat Naik Desai, Naksh Arsekar, and Aryan Bharadwaj, who delivered an impressive collective performance to seal the championship.
