Our Lady of Perpetual Succour High School and St. Thomas High School, Cansaulim, booked their places in the next stage of the Mormugao Taluka, Cluster 11 Subroto Mukherjee Football Tournament 2026–27 after winning their respective semifinal matches at Rose Circle Ground in Sada.
In the Under-17 Girls semifinal, Our Lady of Perpetual Succour High School edged past Regina Mundi High School, Chicalim, 1-0 in a closely contested match organised by the Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs.
Chanda Yadav scored the only goal of the match to send Our Lady of Perpetual Succour into the final.
In the Under-15 Boys semifinal, St. Thomas High School, Cansaulim, produced a dominant display to defeat Mt. Litera Zee School 7-0 and secure a place in the final.
Jollen Colaco starred for St. Thomas with four goals. David Barreto, Cwishun Desouza and Happy Soares added one goal each to complete the scoring.
The matches formed part of the Mormugao Taluka, Cluster 11 phase of the Subroto Mukherjee Football Tournament 2026–27, conducted by the Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs.
