Big Foot Goa in Loutolim has unveiled a special exhibition to mark the 31st anniversary of Sant Mirabai. Conceptualised by its founder, Maendra Jocelino Araujo Alvares, the display features a striking collage of postcards carrying Goa’s first pictorial cancellation stamp dedicated to Sant Mirabai.
The initiative has been recognised by World Records India for achieving the Most Harmony Postcards Written and Posted by a Team. The record is a symbolic gesture of unity in diversity, aligning with the spirit of Mirabai’s life and message.
The exhibition, titled Harmony Postcards, runs from September 5 to 14, 2025 at A Loja de Arte within the Big Foot complex. Visitors can experience how a simple postcard becomes a canvas for cultural storytelling, memory, and harmony.
Alvares, best known for his creation of the 46-foot laterite sculpture of Sant Mirabai, described the project as a continuation of his efforts to keep Goa’s heritage alive through art and interaction. “Every postcard is a small voice of peace, but together they speak volumes,” he shared.
